Donda West's Last Message to a Friend Revealed
In a voicemail message obtained exclusively by Inside Edition, Kanye West's mother, Donda, jokes about her surgery plans to her friend and hairdresser, Charlay Thomas, just one day before going under the knife:
West died on November 10 at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina del Rey, the day after plastic surgeon Jan Adams performed a abdominoplasty and breast reduction. An autopsy has yet to officially confirm whether or not the 58-year-old's sudden death was due to complications from the surgery, but Dr. Adams has offered other suggestions, such as a heart attack, a pulmonary embolism or vomiting.
Adams is currently being investigated by the California medical board for recent reports of alcohol-related arrests and malpractice lawsuits.

Is this really national new; she was probably unhelathy, did not exercise, sneak smoker, and did not reveal all her medical problems. It happens every day with any/all surgery and life is a risk, getting out of bed is a risk. There is probably much more to the story than the media will print, unrelated to her surgeon whom ever it is/was.

I understand having a broken nose fixed or scar removed or even a simple face lift at times but the plastic surgery field and the women who get these procedures are OUT OF CONTROL. Girls younger and younger getting all kinds of procedures done for no good reason. What most don't realize is this is surgery and most are considered major surgery. With that there are so many things that can go wrong. Kanye's Mom looked fine and looked to be aging with grace. Now God rest her soul she went before her time. Whatever the true cause it was a waste of a beautiful life. Age gracefully and realize we all are going to grow old no matter how many surgeries you have to prevent it! Looking good is one thing but dying to do it is another.

I think that her body went into a shock. My sister reciently under went several more serious surgeries. Everyone handles them differently. I saw her almost die I called the nurse and applied cold compresses to her face until the shock went away. The nurse gave her some more pain medicine and she fell asleep. I am really sorry to hear about her death. Best wishes Happy Hoildays

I agree with JOBO he is absolutely correct. I think plastic surgery is a waste of time, and a waste of money. People should be happy with what(fill in you higher god here if u have one) gave you. He or she "blessed" each and every one of us we are all different we have different figures but we are still beautiful in our own way. ur beautiful no matter how big or skinny u are

I am all for anything you want to do to feel good about yourself, but I think eating well and working out is far esier thn putting yourself under the knife.
I am a formerly very overweight child that is a normal in shape woman that works hard at it every day. I swear by drinking plenty of water,

I'm sorry for the death of this mother and feel bad for her son and family....but, I think its time to lay this bit of news to rest. She should have been happy with how she was. She looked great to me. Why do we all think we need to fix the way we are? Maybe its because the media capitalizes on just the beautiful, skinny, perfect looking people, forgetting that the majority of people in this world are not so endowed. Plastic surgery is a farce, unless there is a sound, medical reason for it.

You guys need to chill out and look at the big picture. Beyond pointing fingers and making judgments. The bottom line is that someone lost their mother, and it is beyond tragic. We cannot blame Mrs. West saying things like "whe was probably unhealthy, probably a sneak smoker", probably ..this and that. We cannot blame the doctor saying things like "He probably wasnt qualified, it was all his fault, take away his license" and on and on and on.
The bottom line is we just dont know. We should act as RATIONAL people and wait for the results of the autopsy and investigation. Chances are it was no ones fault, it was just one of those things. People die like this day after day, by the hundreds. It is not uncommon, but it is every bit tragic and saddening.
Focus on the people involved. Instead of spewing hate for side A or B, why not do something constructive? Pray for Donda West, may she rest in peace. Pray for Kanye West, that he be comforted in this most difficult time. Pray for all the family and friends. Also, do not forget to pray for the doctor and the medical staff that were there, and involved. Pray that he find justice, and comfort knowing that it was possibly at his hands, that this occured. It cant be easy for someone to go to bed with that thought on their minds.
